Landscape Hotel
Architectural firm Jensen & Skodvin have completed what could be the world’s very first “landscape hotel”, designed to focus on the outside environment instead of the inside. Located in Norway, The Juvet Landscape Hotel is based on the idea that a structure should blend into its surrounding environment, offering amenities that are oriented outwards towards the surrounding nature.

Currently coveting: a weekend away from the city. After a crazy few weeks that have turned into months, I’m starting to itch for a breath of fresh air. Fingers crossed this Memorial Day weekend trip to the Hamptons works out.

Abandoned Star Wars Sets

My eye caught a dark form lying on the river bottom. It took me a few moments to comprehend what I had stumbled upon. Lying peacefully in the shallow waters of the river, only a few meters from shore, was a full-grown cougar. The contrast between the serenity of the scene I was witnessing and what must have played out here in the cougar’s final moments made me shiver. It was the first shiver of many, as I stripped down and waded out into the icy water to get this shot. x
Holy fuhhh…
